Demo-ethno-anthropologist Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Central Institute for Intangible Heritage

Alessia Villanucci holds a PhD in Anthropology and Historical-Linguistic Studies. Since 2017, she has been serving as a demo-ethno-anthropologist officer at the Ministry of Culture, currently working at the Central Institute for Intangible Heritage, where she develops and coordinates initiatives and projects aimed at the protection, promotion, and safeguarding of demo-ethno-anthropological and intangible cultural heritage.

From 2021 to 2025, she has been scientific coordinator, together with dr. Valeria Trupiano, of the working group that has elaborated the Guidelines for administrative and technical-scientific action on the demo-ethno-anthropological and intangible cultural heritage, which aim to provide homogeneity, efficiency and effectiveness to the activities of the Italian Ministry of Culture (MIC) in this sector.
